Anna Clark, Controller

I joined GRIT Co in the beginning of 2017 after coming off a 9-year stay-at-home mom gig that left me a bit nervous to rejoin the workforce. I hit the ground running and haven’t looked back. I believe in the work we do as a company and truly love my job as the company controller, which is a fancy title for doer of all the things, such as payroll, payables, receivables, human resources, cost analyzer, hoarder of papers, and office mom. I am Grit’s longest tenured employee and hope to be around until they force me into retirement.  

I am a native Texan and have spent my entire adult life living in North San Antonio. I fully believe that you get what you give to your community, and that you should never stop learning. I enjoy listening to true crime podcasts on my commutes to and from work. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have 3 mostly grown kids and a menagerie of furry critters that shed too much and have no sense of personal space.
